In this course, employees will learn the basic principles of Lockout Tagout. The course begins with LOTO fundamentals, and then covers types of hazardous energy. It explains the roles and responsibilities for isolation of hazardous energy, and when written procedures are required. Employees will also learn the six steps of a lockout tagout operation and the methods of group lockout, and when forcible removal of lockout tagout devices are allowed. By the end of this course, employees will understand what LOTO is, and when it is required.
